Surgical Abortion From 10 Through 13 Weeks

Between 10 and 12 weeks, a surgical abortion can be performed with a single visit.

Following an ultrasound and an explanation of the procedure, your cervical canal will be dilated and a thin plastic tube will be passed through the cervix into the uterine cavity.

Pregnancy tissue is removed through the tube by a suction machine. The entire procedure takes less than 10 minutes.
